Learn to bake sourdough from scratch

Intimate, hands-on classes in my home kitchen — capped at eight. Come for the bread, stay for the company.

From english muffins to babkas — you'll leave with fresh bread, new techniques, and the confidence to keep baking.

Jane

Cooking has always been how I share love

As the daughter of Chinese immigrants, food has always been central to how I experience and share culture. I grew up in a household where cooking was both a matter of practicality — my family could not afford to eat out — but also became our primary way of showing love.

When something in the kitchen sparks my curiosity, I tend to dive in completely. When I first started learning sourdough, I spent hours studying fermentation and dough behavior, experimenting again and again until it finally clicked.

What makes these classes different

01

Truly Hands-on

Everyone gets their hands in the dough. No watching from the sidelines — you'll shape, fold, and bake alongside me.

02

Techniques, Not Just Recipes

Understand the why behind each step — fermentation, hydration, timing — so you can keep experimenting at home.

03

Small & Intimate

Capped at 8 guests, every class feels less like a lesson and more like cooking with friends in a cozy kitchen.

I came in terrified of sourdough and left feeling like I could actually do this at home. Jane makes everything feel approachable and fun.
